On September 12, at 8:20 p.m.
Officers responded to the TJ Maxx store located at 1251 4th Street. A homeless man came into the store and stole clothing, cologne and snacks. The suspect was placed under private person’s arrest for shoplifting. The amount of stolen was less than $950. Willie Lee McCoy, 40, homeless, was arrested for shoplifting. Bail was set at $5,000.
