On February 4, at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Officers responded to 1865 Lincoln Blvd (7-11) regarding a Person with a Weapon. The comments of the call stated a female was in the store threatening employees with a knife. Upon arrival, officers detained Alona Kelsey and a male in front of the store. Witnesses stated that the female and male entered the store together. Kelsey began taking items off the shelves and placing them in a black bag. Her male companion grabbed cookies and proceeded to the check out line where he paid for his items. A store employee confronted Kelsey regarding the items she placed in her bag and grabbed the bag in an attempt to pull it from the suspect. Store employees stated Kelsey then attempted to pull a collapsible knife from her pocket upon which time they call 9-1-1. Officers located two knives on her person at the time of arrest. Kelsey was booked for the following violations: 211 P.C. Attempt Robbery; 11375 (b) (2) H&S Possession of Sedatives and Benzodiazepine and 166 (a) (4) P.C. Violation of a Court Order
