Join Westside Family Health Center for a Lunch & Learn, "Dealing with Break-Ups and Divorce: Strategies for a Healthier & Happier Separation,” on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Thelma Terry Room at Virginia Avenue Park, located at 2200 Virginia Ave.
The Lunch & Learn will feature Elizabeth Winkler, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing counseling to individuals, couples and families throughout Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. She facilitates individual and couples therapy with private practice clients in the areas of self-empowerment, codependency, amicable divorce, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relational problems, grief, motherless daughter issues, eating disorders, parenting, and dreamwork. Winkler has also appeared on Oprah’s Network, OWN and Bravo and her writing has been featured in LOVE Magazine, New York Daily News, Elle.com and more.
Her primary focus surrounding divorce is helping individuals, couples and families mindfully untether from marriages and strategies such as mindfulness, helping children adjust and switching focus will be discussed on Sept. 14.
