Should the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District put another emergency funding measure and bond on the ballot?
That’s the question members of a feasibility committee will have to answer.
The school district is looking for a Malibu resident to serve on the committee. Application are due Sept. 30. They can be found at www.smmusd.org.
Completed applications can be e-mailed to swahrenbrock@smmusd.org, faxed to (310) 581-1138, or dropped off at the district office: 1651 16th St., Santa Monica.
The charges of the committee are as follows:
• Study the feasibility of an emergency funding measure;
• Study the feasibility of a bond measure;
• Study the viability of a progressive structure funding measure, one based on the size of the parcel.
The committee will meet regularly during the 2011-12 school year.
