Dear Santa Monica Community,
On behalf of the entire Santa Monica Police Department, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support following the recent attack on one of our officers. In times of difficulty, it is the strength of our community that shines the brightest, and Santa Monica has once again shown its true character.
The overwhelming kindness, compassion, and solidarity we’ve received from residents and business owners remind us how fortunate we are to serve a city that stands united in the face of adversity. Your gestures — whether through kind words, messages, or actions — have made an immense difference to the officer, their family, and the entire department.
