The Santa Monica College Theatre Arts Department and the Troupe Penny Drolls will stage the play “Slipper...” December 10-12 at the Theatre Arts Main Stage on the main SMC campus, 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica.
The play — “a Comedy about the Faux Pas of Fashion, the Intrigue surrounding what to wear to a Ball, in a Style that is Completely Neo-Commedia” — was written by SMC Theatre Arts instructor Terrin Adair, and highlights original music by SMC student Yoni Keynan. Adair also directed the Santa Monica College production.
The live performances are free. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 10, and Saturday, December 11, with a matinee show at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 12. Seating is on a first-arrival basis.
To attend a live performance, audience members must show I.D. and proof of COVID vaccination (or a negative test within 72 hours of the event) at the door. Masks are required at all times.
