Santa Monica Daily Press Publisher Ross Furukawa conducts a one on one conversation with Wendy Greuelin anticipation of the upcoming election for California US Representative, 33rd District.
Wendy Greuel says she wants to go to Washington to fight for the same causes retiring Rep. Henry Waxman believed in – the environment, creating jobs, making sure we stand up for people's civil rights, "and most importantly, trying to deal with this traffic we have in the region." Concerning clean water, she says she's proud of the work they did when she was on the LA City Council, and has asked for a moratorium on fracking in this region. She says she wants to draw on her experience working with the Clinton administration on the problem of homelessness, finding ways to prevent it and increasing affordable housing. "I'll make sure we get our fair share of the resources."
