Santa Monicans for Renters' Rights is only against the Hines project until after the elections. Then it will be full steam ahead for Hines. Look at all the other projects they have endorsed or are about to. How convenient for the replacement of a water main going in the east Olympic area, real close to the Hines project and other developments. The City Council is paid off by you know who. Why don't we put developers on the council? They already have the Planning Commission and city manager. Is anyone out there for the community?
Santa Monica is so corrupt. It's ruined now. What will it be like in 10 years if not stopped? Employees working for the city have been tainted with their excessive salaries, health benefits, pensions etc. Compared to other cities, Bell comes to mind. Roads are parking lots now. We don't want any more phony traffic studies. Enough is enough. Wake up, Santa Monica.
