I read recently that we should not be asking ourselves, "Are we better off now than four years ago?" We should be asking ourselves, "Will we be better off four years from now?" Our election is not for our past. It is about our future.
Seniors should be worrying about losing Social Security and Medicare. Non-seniors should be worrying if their promised healthcare will be canceled. Parents should be worrying if their children will face starvation without food stamps.
If any of our 99 percent Americans are still not worried about four years with Mitt Romney and party, I could cite many more disasters ahead for us, but I hope the above are enough.
