The ninth annual Main Street Summer SOULstice returns to Santa Monica Sunday with 20 bands and a new circus show.
Concerts will run all day on seven different stages. Performers include several tribute bands such as The Neil Deal, Petty Theft and Heartless and Coachella 2009 performers Helios Jive and BLVD. DJ Steven Prior will provide entertainment at Bay Avenue.
The circus show at the First Federal parking lot will include dancers from Hoopnotica, The StiltRockers, jugglers and clowns. Kids will also be able to enjoy a petting zoo, face painting and balloon animals from Rockie the Clown.
The annual Sidewalk Sale that runs in conjunction with Summer SOULstice will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
To provide access to the concerts and activities, the Big Blue Bus will run a free shuttle between the parking garage on Fourth Street to Main Street.
