Daniel Archuleta, a longtime member of the Santa Monica Daily Press team and fixture in the Santa Monica community, died on July 16. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and colleague our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Gali, and two young girls, Lila and Gaby, and the rest of his family. At this time,we do not have any additional details about his death or information about services. We share in the community's shock, sadness and pain during during this difficult time.
Mike Jennings, a close, lifelong friend of Daniel, has set up a memorial fund to help the Archuleta family cope with this very unexpected loss.
