On November 15, 2018 at about 1:41 p.m.
Officers responded to a radio call for service in the 600 block of Ocean Avenue regarding a male pulling a female out of an apartment window. Upon arrival, officers located the male subject in the 100 block of Palisades Avenue. Officers learned a male and female got into an argument over a debt. The argument escalated and dispute became physical. The male suspect exited the apartment and tried to make re-entry through a window. The female confronted the male and he tried to force her out through a window punching the victim several times. The female fought him off and the suspect left. Kenneth David Lombardi, 32, from Santa Monica, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $30,000.
