The historic Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, situated atop the scenic Palisades Park bluffs overlooking the Santa Monica Bay, was named best hotel for business travelers in Los Angeles County by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.
Business travelers staying in the hotel’s signature bungalow accommodations may take advantage of their own personal assistant, who is available on a complimentary basis around the clock to make copies, run errands, and assist with any general requests, according to a spokesman from the hotel. An additional unique service offering available to the business traveler is the “Business Bento Box,” a lunch or dinner meal delivered through room service in a convenient, compact and efficient tray, eliminating the typical extensive room service set-up that may otherwise clutter their workspace.
“We’re honored to be recognized in this way by our guests,” said General Manager Wolfgang Jonas. “Business travelers account for a significant percentage of guests visiting the hotel, and we’re thrilled to be able to meet — and exceed — their expectations on every visit.”
Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows is also the only hotel in Santa Monica to offer access to an ultra-high-speed fiber-optic network, Jonas said. This cutting-edge technology provides business travelers visiting the city the ability to connect to the Internet at a speed of 100 megabits/second, approximately 20 times faster than the average home connection.
High profile guests can also arrange for their own private dark fiber allocation during their stay, making the hotel the ideal destination for international diplomats and high profile executives.
