Crime Watch – DUI Arrest

While on patrol, an officer observed a dark colored sedan traveling at a high rate of speed without lights on near the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue. The officer initiated a traffic stop and observed a six-pack of beer in the back seat along with 16 additional open bottles of beer. The driver, Fortunato Santibanez, was given a field sobriety test. Based on his performance during the testing in addition to the other evidence observed, Santibanez was arrested for Vehicle Code 23152(A) – Driving Under the Influence.
