Tuesday, April 13 9:21 p.m.
Officers responded to the area of Appian Way and Arcadia Terrace regarding a naked male walking and screaming near the bike path. Upon arrival, Officers spotted a fully nude male running toward the water line. The male suspect was detained without incident and made statements about taking LSD. Due to the suspect’s behavior and statements, Officers determined the suspect was under the effects of a controlled substance. Eduardo Aguiniga was booked for being in violation of the Santa Monica Municipal Code 4.08.760(a)- public nudity and 647(f) P.C.- public intoxication (Drugs). Aguiniga was later issued a citation to appear in court.
