On Saturday, February 13 6:23 a.m.
SMPD Officers were dispatched to 7-Eleven on the 1800 block of Lincoln regarding an Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The Victim stated that he had walked into 7-Eleven and recognized an individual as a security guard that had kicked him out a skate shop a week earlier. The Victim was still upset about this and confronted the individual and a fight ensued. The individual then took the Victim’s skateboard and hit him on the shoulder with it, witnesses were able to corroborate this story. Tariq Ali was arrested for 245(a)(1)P.C.- Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
