Officers arrived at the 1100 block of 12th St. regarding an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival, the victim stated that he had been standing outside of his building smoking a cigarette when an individual approached him asking if he had money. The suspect brandished a knife and threaten to stab the victim if he did not comply. The victim told the subject to wait and walked back into the building and called the police. Officers located Julian Mark Friedman nearby and arrested him for attempted robbery.
