Officers responded to Ralph’s on Cloverfield regarding a theft. Store security explained that he had seen an individual whom he recognized from stealing several items two days prior and asked him what he had this time. The guard noticed a bottle in the subject’s pocket and quickly took it back and escorted the subject out. As he walked him out the subject attempted to grab other items and ultimately grabbed a flower pot and threw it at the guard, who was able to block it using his arm. The subject ran off toward Bergamot Station. Officers located and arrested Daniel Alexei Kotek for battery.
