Downtown Services Unit Officers were dispatched to 2nd St. and Colorado regarding a Robbery. Upon arrival, the victim stated he was waiting for an Uber with his girlfriend when the subject approached and stated, “I really like your face” while placing her hand near his front pocket and then walking away. Shortly after, the victim realized his wallet was missing. Several witnesses told him the subject had taken the wallet. The victim followed the subject until police arrived. The subject began to flee when she noticed the officers speaking to the victim. Alana Michelle Adrover was ultimately arrested for Grand Theft from a Person.
