On Thursday, November 25 at 8:04 a.m.
Officers responded to the 3000 of 4th St. regarding vandalism. The comments of the call stated the subject was currently being held down by some of the victims. Upon arrival, Officers handcuffed Alexander Barry as they spoke to the victims. Officers learned that one of the victims saw Barry hitting a car with a metal chain, breaking its windows and walking away. The victim located the owner of the vehicle and they both followed the subject, who subsequently swung the chain at them. The two individuals, along with a third bystander were able to hold the subject down until police arrived. The owner of the vehicle further relayed that he and the subject are related and have had multiple issues in the past. Barry was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Vandalism.
