On June 27 at 2:30 a.m.
As officers were completing a response to an early request for service, they were approached by a passerby. The passerby engaged the officers and exhibited concerning behaviors including slurred speech, unsteady gait, and delayed response to questioning. The behavior described along with a strong smell of alcohol on the person led officers to deduce that she was intoxicated. Angela Sak was arrested and booked into the SMPD Jail for 647 (f) PC – Drunk in Public. She was issued a citation with a return court date of August 9, 2021.
