Grammy Award-winning Los Angeles Chamber Singers, led by music director Peter Rutenberg, presents its early music ensemble CAPPELLA in the organization's final season concerts.
The program, entitled "LIQUID ARCHITECTURE: Music from the Golden Age of Polyphony," offers a retrospective highlighting some of the most important works and composers from the organization's quarter century of distinguished music making and community service, featuring music by Lassus, Palestrina, Tallis, Sheppard, Gibbons, Padilla, Guerrero and Byrd, and will be performed twice: first on Saturday, June 27, at 8 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Monica, 1220 Second St., Santa Monica; and again on Monday, June 29, at 7:30 p.m., at Vibiana, 210 S. Main St., Downtown Los Angeles.
General admission for each concert is $25; advance tickets (up to 24 hours before the concert) are $20; students & seniors are $15.
