A public hearing will be held by the Zoning Administrator to consider the following request:
The applicant is requesting approval of a fence height modification to construct a 72-inch high fence within the required front yard area. The fence is comprised of solid steel sup- ported by steel posts. Pursuant to Santa Monica Municipal Code (SMMC) Section 9.04.10.02.080, fences, walls, or hedges cannot exceed the maximum height of 42-inch- es within the required front yard, measured from the lowest grade. SMMC Section 9.04.10.02.080(e) permits a height modification to the height limitations in the front yard area, subject to approval by the Zoning Administrator.
