The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education will call a special closed session on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 15-16. The board will call the meeting to order on Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. in the district office board room. They will reconvene on Oct. 16 at 9 a.m.
During the closed session, board members will interview candidates for the position of superintendent.
The application period ended on Sept. 23. The board held a special closed session on October 4 to review the applications and select finalists to be interviewed.

The next regular board meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 20, 5:30 p.m. at the district office: 1651 16th St.
