Officers arrived at the 1300 block of 15th St. regarding a subject who had hit an older man. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the victim who stated he had parked his vehicle on the 1400 block of Santa Monica and walked towards UCLA Santa Monica Hospital for a doctor’s appointment. Suddenly, the victim felt himself being struck on the head twice by what felt like a metal pole, he fell to the floor and felt someone go through his pockets and take his phone and keys before running off. A nearby witness was able to stop the subject until police arrived. George Delany Blair was arrested for Robbery, Elder Abuse, and Assault with a Deadly Weapon
