The Santa Monica Animal Shelter is thrilled to once again join forces with NBC Universal and Telemundo broadcasting stations to find loving homes for homeless pets through the annual “Clear The Shelters” pet adoption campaign! This year, in an effort the make the nationwide adoption initiative more accessible, the campaign is scheduled to run a month-long, making it easier for people to adopt. The shelter kicked off their event on Monday, August 23, and it will run through Sunday, September 19, 2021. During this time, all adoptions will be offered at reduced prices.
From cats and dogs, to rabbits and turtles, the Santa Monica Animal Shelter has a long list of marvelous animals anxiously awaiting their forever home. To view a list of their adoptables and learn more about the Santa Monica Animal Shelter, visit santamonica.gov, go to “Services”, then click “Animal Services.” A list of their adoptables can also be found by searching “Santa Monica Animal Shelter” on petharbor.com and petfinder.com. In effort to protect the public against COVID-19, the shelter is practicing COVID-19 safety protocols by requiring all persons to wear masks, and scheduling adoptions by appointment only.
