Crime Watch

On Saturday, July 24, at 5:35 p.m.
SMPD officers responded to the 2700 block of Barnard Way regarding a male subject igniting miscellaneous items on fire. The suspect not only set his own personal items on fire, he also damaged a City tree. Santa Monica Fire also responded to the scene and poured water on the smoldering items. Jordan Wyatt, a male from the Venice area was issued a citation and scheduled to appear in court on September 9th for municipal code 4.55.100(a) - Kindling/Using Fire.
