Tuesday, November 24th 1:50 p.m.
Two Officers driving down the 200 block of Broadway were flagged down by two males who identified themselves as Nordstrom Loss Prevention. The two males were in a verbal altercation with a third male, Dominique Tyssen Villa, and stated that Villa had just stolen from their store. After interviewing each party individually, Officers gathered that Villa had entered the store, taken various items, and attempted to leave without paying. The Loss Prevention staff followed closely and stopped him inside the store, at the door. He was asked to return the merchandise. After searching Villa, Officers further found that he was in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe. An itemized list of the items Villa had attempted to steal totaled approximately $1,069.73. Due to the items totaling over $950, Villa was arrested for a 487(a) PC- Grand Theft, 11377(a) H&S - Possession of Methamphetamine, and 11364(a) H&S - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Villa was later cited and released.
