On September 29, at 4:11 p.m.
SMPD Dispatch received a call for a residential burglary near the 100 block of Palisades Avenue. The suspect was identified as a female, approximately 40 years old with a suitcase. While en route to the call, officers located a female matching the description near the corner of 4th and Palisades Avenue. It was determined that the suspect entered an unlocked window and was found standing in the victim’s living room. The suspect, Camille Chacon aka Camie Garcia, was found in possession of an ID and credit card that did not belong to her along with a roll of quarters reported missing from the victim’s apartment. Chacon was booked for 459 Burglary and 496 (a) Receiving Stolen Property.
