On Friday, September 25 at approximately 2:12 a.m.
SMPD Officers were dispatched to the Bank of America on the 1300 block of 4th St. regarding a Strongarm Robbery just occurred. Once on scene, the officers spoke to the victim who relayed that he was walking down the street and stopped at a light where two males were standing at about a 6-foot distance from him. The two males approached the victim who displayed a “rock and roll” gesture with his hand. The males interpreted this as a possible gang sign and began to threaten the victim. The victim then ran toward the nearby Bank of America, as it was well lit and could potentially have cameras. The two males ran after him, physically assaulted him, and stole a bag he was carrying. Officers surveilled the area and arrested Jullian Christopher Cook and Harvey Michael Robertson for a 211 PC- Robbery and are being held on a $50,000 bail.
