On December 9, 2019 at approximately 1:10 p.m.
Officers were in the area of 600 Idaho conducting burglary suppression patrol. They noticed a male subject in the alley with property and four bicycles. The area has seen an uptick in bicycle thefts. Officers made contact with the subject who provided a false name. Officers were able to determine his correct name and found he had an outstanding bench warrant and was in possession of methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested without further incident. Jerod Bruce Durham, 41, from Los Angeles was arrested for false impersonation, a warrant and possession of methamphetamine.
