Downtown Officers responded to the Vans Store in the 400 block of Broadway for a Robbery call. Two suspects entered into the store. One of them used a knife to threaten the employees so they could steal skateboards. They then fled the store. As officers got to the store, one of the employees directed them to where the suspects were last seen. Assisting officers were able to locate one of the suspects in Alley 4 just south of Santa Monica. The suspect detained was positively identified and arrested. Timothy Thornton Wright, 25, was arrested for robbery, possession of metal knuckles and a parole violation. He was denied bail.
