On Friday, January 29 7:34 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a parking lot on 2000 block of Colorado Ave. regarding a subject looking into vehicles. Upon arrival, the reporting party pointed Officers in the direction of where the subject had last been seen and stated being alarmed at the subject’s behavior. Officers located Nykko S. Brown attempting to hide behind a kiosk and asked him to come out and speak to them. Officers also found a glass stimulant pipe that showed signs of being recently used. Brown eventually admitted he was under the influence of methamphetamine and stated he was looking inside cars to find a place to sleep. Brown was eventually arrested for being in violation of 11550(a)H&S-Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, he was later cited and released.
