Santa Monica Daily Press Publisher Ross Furukawa conducts a one on one conversation with Eric Preven in anticipation of the upcoming election for Los Angeles County Supervisor.
Eric Prevenbelieves his experience as a consultant for large entertainment companies that have similar bureaucratic issues as LA county government, along with his commitment to having attended more than 150 county board meetings in the last three years, makes him the different kind of candidate needed by the county at this time. "I bring a vigor and passion for the substance of county government. I'm hoping that folks will want a change agent, where we need it desperately." He feels the county effort about a year ago to fund runoff cleanup at the beaches was mishandled, and probably will involve fees or taxes but can come in at a lower price tag.
