The Samohi Theatre program is welcoming back all alumni for a Nov. 9, 7 p.m. celebration of the organization's rich history.
The first annual Alumni Night will feature a special performance of "Noises Off," a play-within-a-play comedy featuring inside jokes for the theater enthusiast. "Noises Off" will also show Nov. 8, 15 and 16 at Samohi's Humanities Center.
"Students are really proud to be a part of such a rich theater history," said Director Kate Soller. "They really want to honor the talented people that came before them. They like the idea of getting to meet people who, just like them, in that very space, were memorizing lines, getting blocking down, and getting nervous before the show."
Among the notable list of Samohi Theatre alumni are Sean Penn, Rob Lowe and Robert Downey Jr. For more information and to buy tickets, visit samohitheatre.org.
