
Expo Light Rail Line Project
Note the following activities:
1. Colorado Avenue eastbound between Fourth and Fifth streets is to close on Monday. Detailed information can be found online at: www.buildexpo.org/home/colorado-avenue-closure
2. Colorado Avenue between Second and Ninth streets and between 12th and17th streets: Expect westbound and eastbound lane closures during nighttime hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and daytime hours. Expect reduction of travel lanes on Fifth Street and Colorado, 14th Street and Colorado, and Euclid and Colorado.
3. Olympic Boulevard between 20th and Cloverfield: Expect westbound and eastbound delays and lane closures during non-peak travel hours 9:30 a.m. — 3 p.m.

Colorado Esplanade
On Wednesday, Feb. 20 and Thursday, Feb. 21, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. there will be minor roadway construction at the intersection of Ocean and Colorado avenues. Traffic control measures will be in place but all directions of automobile traffic will remain in operation with the exception of the one-way lane between Moomat Ahiko Way and Ocean Avenue which will be closed temporarily during the day. Other work will include partial lane closures and sidewalk closures. 20th/Cloverfield Improvement Project
For the period of Feb. 13 through Feb. 26 construction activities will take place on 20th Street and Cloverfield Boulevard, which will involve some lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. — 6 p.m. Traffic control will be in place during construction and will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction at all times. There'll be a traffic signal shutdown on 20th Street at Pico Boulevard on Tuesday. Traffic delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes. Parking Structure No. 6
There will be no work on site on Monday in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. There will be periodic sidewalk closures on Second Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard from Feb. through Feb. 22. There will be periodic northbound lane closures thru Feb. 22 for material deliveries on Second Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard. Temporary traffic control signs and barricades will be deployed to guide vehicular and pedestrian traffic in and around the work areas. Fencing and deliveries work will take place in the alley behind the parking structure (Second Court), with partial alley closures taking place through Feb. 22. Wastewater Main Replacement Project
Construction activities, including trenching and paving, will continue on 11th Street between Michigan Avenue and Pico Boulevard. Temporary traffic control measures have been implemented in this area. There will be the loss of one travel lane in each direction through March 1 on 11th Street; as well as loss of parking Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Residents may park on 11th Street between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. on weekdays and any time on weekends. For those 11th Street residents who received temporary parking permits from the city, please note that your permit will be valid through Feb. 21. Construction activities will restrict access to local traffic only on Lincoln Court from Pacific Street to Pearl Street and on Pearl Place north from Lincoln Court to 11th Street. Civic Center Parks
Through March of 2013 the majority of Town Square (front yard of City Hall) will be closed so the contractor can continue construction activities. During this time period, the west-facing front door of City Hall will be accessible via a pedestrian pathway that runs north from the sidewalk on Olympic Drive to the front door of City Hall. The sidewalk and parking lane on the east side of Main Street will be closed in front of City Hall; Pedestrians on the east side of Main Street are routed through a barricaded pathway in the Main Street parking lane. The parking lot and City Hall entrance on the north side of City Hall will remain open during construction. One-way vehicular traffic has been implemented turning west from Main Street on to Fujinomiya Douri; traffic must exit behind City Hall south on Avenida Mazatlan and onto Olympic Drive. Caution should be used in this area, emergency vehicles are exempt from the one-way traffic pattern. On Ocean Avenue, through May 10, the sidewalk on the east side of Ocean Avenue between Colorado Avenue and Seaside Terrace will be closed for construction activities.
Santa Monica-Malibu USD: Samohi
Beginning Feb. 11 through Feb. 25, two northbound lanes will be closed on Fourth Street between Pico Boulevard and Olympic Drive and one lane on Pico due to storm drain work. Through traffic and access to bus transit will be maintained at all times.
