Police said a man in his late 30s tumbled down a bluff and landed on Pacific Coast Highway Tuesday.
The man fell from the bluff around 11 a.m. and wound up in the 1200 block of PCH, said SMPD Sgt. Richard Lewis. The extent of the man's injuries were not immediately known.
Lewis said Santa Monica police are trying to determine what happened to the man. It could be that he was living in the bluffs and slipped. He could have been pushed or it may have been a suicide attempt.
