St. Monica football traveled to Kern Valley on Friday and walked away with a 28-24 win, sending the Mariners on to the second round of the CIF-SS Northeast Division playoffs.
With the win, St. Monica improved to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in Santa Fe League play.
St. Monica will take on Boron on Friday at 7:30 p.m. St. Monica hosts, but the location hasn't been announced.
