Big Blue Bus riders will have to travel to a new location to get their bus passes.
The current Transit Store location will close its doors at the end of the business day on Monday, April 14.
Doors will reopen at its new location on Tuesday, April 15. Visit the new counter located only a block away on Fourth Street and Broadway.
The space will be shared with Central Parking and is located at 1440 Fourth St. Hours of operation will remain the same with customer service representatives offering assistance Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The move is being made to save the bus company an estimated $125,000 to $150,000 through June 2017. Beauty bar retailer Washington Earth Spa is taking over the lease of the old location.
