The Santa Monica Police Department is investigating reports of a suspect luring female students off campus and then assaulting them. SMCPD sent messages to students Thursday saying the suspect is attempting to befriend students near tables on the south side of Drescher Hall. He then asks students to hang out off campus where he sexually assaults them. The suspect is described as a black man, 5’9, approximately 135 pounds with short black hair. The incidents are currently under investigation and anyone with any information is encouraged to call the SMC Police Department at 310-434-4300 and ask for a supervisor or email smcpd@smc.edu.
