Santa Monica College's Theatre Arts Department will perform "Noises Off" March 27 through April 5 on the Theatre Arts Main Stage at the SMC Main Campus, 1900 Pico Blvd.
The farce, written by Michael Frayn, follows a theatre company attempting to mount a touring production as everything around them unravels. Missed cues, misplaced props and backstage tensions collide with the onstage action in an escalating chain of comic mishaps.
The SMC production is directed by Terrin Adair.
Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27, Saturday, March 28, Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. Matinees are at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 and Sunday, April 5.
Advance tickets range from $22 to $25, with $18 pricing for SMC students and staff. Tickets are available at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-4165 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets purchased at the Events Box Office on performance weekends are $3 higher.
