Elite wheelchair athletes will take to the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday, March 8, as the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon's Professional Wheelchair Division returns for 2026, presented by California Rehabilitation Foundation and The McCourt Foundation.

The race begins at 6:30 a.m. at Dodger Stadium, sending competitors through a 26.2-mile course that winds through Downtown Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Century City, where athletes will cross the finish line on Santa Monica Boulevard at Avenue of the Stars.

Several organizations dedicated to rehabilitation, adaptive athletics and disability advocacy are supporting the event, including California Rehabilitation Institute, Hanger Orthotics, Artists for Trauma and California State University Northridge's College of Health and Human Development.

"This year's race is made possible by generous partners who are committed to rehabilitation and adaptive athletics," said Deborah Carabet, parathlete coordinator for the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon. "Their united efforts strengthen the Professional Wheelchair Race as a premier example of elite competition and resilience."

The event will also feature a finish-line performance by The Rollettes, a wheelchair dance team known for international performances.

The Professional Wheelchair Division continues to be a centerpiece of the marathon's broader commitment to inclusivity and high-performance adaptive competition.
