Yacht Club Pop-Up in Marina del Rey: Denver’s Yacht Club Bar, ranked one of North America’s 50 best bars, will take over Cast & Plow Bar inside The Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey for an evening of cocktails and bites, including signature drinks such as their Hidden Valley Ranch Water made with Patrón Silver Tequila, fino sherry, dill, mint, lemon, black pepper, buttermilk, and Perrier. Known for their hot dog-focused food program, Yacht Club will serve their signature Caviar Dog (caviar, crème fraiche, chives, chips), alongside other bites from Cast & Plow’s culinary team. SMPL at the Beach: "Fun in the sun for all ages at So Cal's only beachside pop-up library. Join us for a fun-filled day of activities starting with Seaside Storytime with local author Nell Cross Beckerman at 10:15am, sign out books from our curated beach reads collection, play games, or kick back, relax and read in our Surfside Lounge. Endless Summer CAMP (Community | Art | Music | Picnic) at Tongva Park (FREE): This first of four Saturday events celebrates community, arts and culture. Bring a picnic and join as artists from across Santa Monica and the LA region share their culture through interactive music, performances, and hands-on crafts. Special performances by local youth will be featured. Open to all. Saturday August 10, features Philippine dance, music and song by Kayamanan Ng Lahi along with Traditional Mexican folklorico dance by Academia de Danza Ballet Folklorico Flor de Mayo’s youth ballet. Skate Under the Stars at Santa Monica's New Seasonal Roller Rink: Roll at Santa Monica is a new seasonal skating rink that will twirl daily from August 10 through October 14. Upcoming Dinner, Alcohol Menus Elevating New Jinky’s Location: "To reestablish Jinky’s as a downtown destination, a new dinner menu is soon set to be introduced, prompting later hours for hungry customers. Open from 7:30am to 3pm, the dinner portion of the location will push closing time to 10pm. First seen at the Studio City location, the Jinky’s dinner will "reflect the global flavors" of Los Angeles, with dishes inspired by Southwest, Italian, Californian, French, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine."
