A Santa Monica resident went missing Sunday after wandering off from an Easter Day event at Santa Monica State Beach.
Lori Bullock, 61, who has early-onset Alzheimer's disease, was last seen at the beach between Ocean Park and Pico Boulevard. The Santa Monica Police Department, her family and church community are searching for her, said Teri Breier, a friend of Bullock's.
"Lori’s family and spiritual community are in great distress about this," Breier said.
Bullock is 5 feet 5 inches, 160 pounds and African American. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants, a blue long-sleeved shirt under a black cable-knit sweater, a tan sun hat and sandals. Bullock does not have her ID or phone and does not have her or her family's phone numbers memorized.
Anyone with information related to Bullock's disappearance is encouraged to call SMPD at (310) 458-8491 or her family at (214) 354-4515.
Update: Bullock was found safe in Brentwood Monday evening.
