A stabbing near Tongva park temporarily closed the area on Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to the intersection of Main and Olympic at about 1:55 p.m. on Friday for an unknown trouble call. Upon arrival, they found two victims with stab wounds who received medical aid on-site and were transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Several individuals were seen running into Tongva Park at the time of the incident and officers detained several people for questioning.
Multiple individuals were taken from the scene but no information on arrests was available at press time.
