Crime Watch

Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of 14th St regarding a prowling investigation. Officers detain a female leaving the location they were dispatched to. Consent search of her person revealed an access card belonging to a city employee. The female also displayed signs of intoxication. Officers discovered that the access card and other items located on the suspect were taken from vehicles parked in the employee parking lot. The female was subsequently arrested. Jennifer Almanza, 29, from Los Angeles was arrested for receiving stolen property and public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,000.
