On July 20 at about 12:44 a.m., Santa Monica police officers responded to a radio call for service regarding a hit-and-run vehicle investigation in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
The investigation revealed that the suspect vehicle struck a motorcycle and fled.
The suspect vehicle was located in the 500 block of PCH. The suspect vehicle had sustained moderate damage to the front end.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect, Isamar Juarez, 25, of Los Angeles, admitted to being involved in the collision and was placed under arrest without incident.
Juarez was booked for felony hit-and-run and driving without a license. Bail was set at $50,000.
