Officers responded to 323 Bicknell Ave for a suspicious person call. The resident’s dog began to bark at the back door. The resident walked to the backdoor and observed a male subject standing outside of her washroom. The suspect took a step towards the resident and the resident threatened him with the dog. The suspect stated he was looking for his cousin and then left the house walking behind the shrubbery. The suspect had broken into another apartment and was found in the shower. The residents of the apartment were not home. Police were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. Michael Richard Ballard, 24, from San Francisco, was arrested for burglary. Bail was set at $50,000.
