Officers responded to the AM/PM located at 332 Pico for an assault. Upon arrival they found the suspect riding a skateboard. They made contact with the suspect and detained her. They met with the two victims. One victim was slapped in the face unprovoked. The second victim tried to stop the suspect from fleeing. The suspect took her skateboard and swung it at his head. To prevent from being struck, he put up his forearm to block the attack. Elizabeth Shubert, 27, homeless, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, battery and assault. Bail was set at $30,000.
