On September 19, 2019 at 4:13pm, officers responded to a shoplifting call at the TJ Maxx store located at 1251 4th St. Two male suspects were walking around the store and concealing items. One of the suspects was in a wheelchair and was concealing the clothing items in the backrest of his chair. The two suspects exited the store, not paying for the items and were followed out of the store by loss prevention. Police arrived on scene and met with Loss Prevention. The suspects were placed under private person's arrest and taken into custody without incident. No photos of the suspects were available.
Jeffrey Burt, 34, and Alexander Bryant Goode, 29, were arrested and cited for shoplifting.
